RIVERSIDE

I started Riverside grooming after being made redundant in 2010. I then built the parlour based in Bidford Boatyard as it is now. Since then I have run a successful pet grooming business from this site.

 

I have noticed over the last few years that a lot of customers travel to some of the surrounding towns to stock up on their pet food, bedding and other products. Being a semi rural village supplies are limited. 

 

I have recently conducted some informal market research by way of asking my  customers if they may have an interest in regular and convenient deliveries of their preferred pet products. Lines would include variety's of pet food, treats, bedding, toys and any other associated items.Initial feed back would indicate that i would have demand for such service.

 

At present i have acquired a small amount of stock and have sold a few sample items from the grooming premises. The business idea is in the initial stages and sales are very small, however i do feel that i have identified some demand. in order to capitalise on this i feel that a small investment in a web site could help me to begin to grow sales and further investigate the market place. 

 

From here my aspiration is to provide a second line of business running parallel with the existing pet grooming service that is convenient and reliable and generates repeatable business.
